Does the 06-07 3.5l LT have the U bend that are on the 01-05?

 

i dont thing its as durastic on those, or so i've heard, not as much of a benifit of getting rid of it even if there is one

 

i know on the 3.9's there is not. the 3.5's should be close to the same I would think, they are close to the same motor.

 

I'd have an exhaust shop yank it anyway and put in the os 2 bung.

 

i would just leave it, the bends i've seen in the exhaust there would restrict very very little if at all. the exhaust appears to maintain the full diameter throughout, unlike the 00-05's. its possible even, that it might actually help because theres a less severe turn in the exhaust.
