Default threw a 420 code due to exhaust

here's a question. I threw my 420 code due to my exhaust mods. If i drive around with that code will it bother anything. I am buying the 02 emulators today but just wanted to make sure it wouldnt rob performance.

If the cat is a high-flow one then you're going to be setting that code alot.
I had a guy with a tuner delete that code after I installed my highflow cat so that the code won't come up anymore. The 02 similator will work as well, but I was getting a tune at the time so I didn't have to spend the money on a sim.

Throwing the P0420 code won't hurt anything, but it will cause you to fail an emissions inspection if the code is active.

No prob. I just had to clear that code every day for a week until I got my car tuned up.
If you're getting a tuner (or getting a tune or an aftermarket PCM) then you don't need the O2 sim, so save yourself the money.
