i was doing some disecting to my engine and one things i seen was like a grill type on the tb.can that be modded to come off?seems very restrictive for air flow.it is right when you take off the hose from the air filter box

 

I removed mine but was later told not to but it still is not in it LOL

the thing is some cars run fine with them out others don't

It used to be might still be on ZZP's website in thier cheap mods section.
it is suposed to straighten the air flow out and cause it to go threw the motor better.

But it ya want to take it out you can there is a large snap ring like deal in there it is actually a peice of spring wire.
I took mine out and then put the wire back in to it. so i didnt lose it.

you cna pull it out try it then decid if ya want to leave it in there or not.

 

I pulled mine out and felt a little gain on top end.
It doesnt hurt the motor so dont worry about that
