hay montecarloguy07 i have the same year as yours mine does not sound raspy sounds good. there are 3400 and 3800 sound raspy do to power upgrades on the engine. with the 3500 there is very little upgrades that will make it sound like that. sorry guy's that have that motor. but it is what i have noticed. well i also agre with enzo as well on that. but my mustang gt that is heavely moded as well as my dads mazda 6 that is heavely moded with no resinator sounds really good. no raspy if my dads mazda sounded raspy he would not drive it till he replaced his resignators. he didnt have them on it scence 06 and it is 2010so he enjoyes it. and he likes how my truck monte and mustang gt sounds as well so. what i am saying do what you feel on doing i am not saying dont or do i was just putting in a opinion
