Is there any point with trying to mod my 3.4?

I'm just wondering if there is any noticeable difference in adding an intake and afternarket exhaust on my 04 LS? Anyone mod there's and would you do it again? Or should I just make it look good and forget about any performance?

Yeah, that's what I thought. Thanks for the advice.

I agree with labnjab. I don't know why people spend so much modding these 3400 when a used L67 or equivenlent donor can be had for about a $1000, maybe less.
Donor car > swap the engines > sell donor > cost = next to nothing = fast car

IMO it depends how far you want to go with it. I definitely think an home made FWI or CAI intake and a muffler back exhaust is well worth the money (thats also where I stopped with my 3100). Even if you gain virtually no power from it, the sound difference with those two will definitely make the car much more fun to drive- and you could do both for $250 or less depending what setups you're looking at doing.
