Thanks MonteCarlo Forum Members!

I'd say that has a lot to do with it, also. It's nice to have someone from the company right there to answer all your questions - it just highlights the great customer service.
If y'all would get a 3400 intake on the market I'd buy it in a heartbeat, as would several others I'm sure. Right now ZZP is the only decent one out there.

Thanks everyone, solid customer service is definitely something we strive for here. Hopefully we can come out with something for your 3.4L engines, unfortunately our development schedule is already planned for the next 6 months. I wonder what the differences would be for it (the 3.4L)?? If it somehtng that did not require any new tooling or major reconfiguration maybe we could come out with something a little sooner?!
I believe all the differences between the 2 engines are confined to the intake tube itself - so since we actually hook your intake to our stock tubing it shouldn't take much configuring at all.
I believe the stock air boxes themselves are identical between the engines.

That's what I was trying to get at in my last post. The CAI Intake keeps the stock tubing, and as far as I know the stock airboxes are identical between the trims so really the 3800 CAI intake should actually work without any modification at all.

I don't see any reason that it won't work with the stock tubing

Ok, so who has a 3400 Monte Carlo on here that we can do a trial run with?? Maybe we can figure something out that allows us to check fitment and finish, along with making sure that the system will not cause a CEL or anything to be thrown, and we can offer a little discount or something to the person who helps us out. Anyone interested in doing this??
Where is the MAF located on the 3400 engine, is it built into the throttle body? Also what is the ID of the intake tube already on the vehicle, we would have to ensure it will fit the current filter properly.
Also, in the case any of you reply to this and I don't respond as quick as usual, I am about to go on vacation for about a week, so I'm not ignoring you, just not here! Hopefully we can figure something out and avoid going through our entire design and testing process and get you this product sooner than later!

The MAF is half way down the tube into the intake, so there's one tube into the MAF then another tube into the intake itself.
I'm not sure the exact ID of the tube, but I know it is the same as the 3800, I've compared 2 at the junkyard before lol
Have a good vacation! Going anywhere fun?

Bill, if Mitch (Trewyn15) does test this and it works, you will have a great product and a huge market. The 3400 guys don't have many mods, and there is only one CAI kit that works for them that we recommend. I would love to recommend this one to all of the people who ask for a real kit.
Also, he is a long standing member who supports our community greatly. I couldn't think of a better suited test person.
