ok well i went to get dual exhaust's about a month or two ago and got it all done... i replaced the resonator with a higher flowing one.. and i put 2 glasspacks before the tips in the back... month goes by and im getting nothing but bad responses.

im going to be changing the exhaust this week most likely im thinking about putting full boar mufflers on it (there basically the same as flowmaster except they let more cfm through) im not really sure what to do about this... im going to be dropping a another couple hundred on this exhaust ****..the car sounds awesome when i rev it up almost exactly like a v8 its unbelievable but when im driving it sounds like there is just a hole in my muffler..

any ideas other then mine i would greatly appreciate the responses....

ok whats done on my car is this removed mufflers and resonater replaced resonator with what is called a turbo tube ran new pipe from tube backout to the rears 2.5 inch and put the factory tips back on the car
cost me 100 dollars total and i have people complimenting me almost everyday on the way my monte sounds

And you removed your resonator and mufflers all together?


I left my resonator on for now, and simply added two 40 series flow master.

 

yehh well it seem likes you almost have the same thing dess no mufflers and some kind of glass pack or resonator and no mufflers and im just being told that my car sounds like i have an old peace of **** exhaust system with holes lol

 

well a turbo tube as i was told by the guy at the shop is a turbo style muffler that is in the shape of a glass pack so in essence its like a glass pack with baffling it gives alot deeper tone and it sounds like a v8 at idle and at highway speed you almost cant here the car

 

oh and yes both of the stock mufflers and resonator were taken off witht he turbo tube put in place of the resonator the mufflers are in my garage
