ok so yea i have an aftermarket radio, thought everything was cool when today my change engine oil light comes on, how do i reset that with the after market? or do i have to install the factory back, i was thinking maybe disconnecting the battery or sumthin? i dont know, plus you guys should check out the new tailights they have for our montes on ebay , rice or not ? tell me after sumone helps me first, lol.

I had that same problem and what i did is i took it to my local advanced auto parts store and a guy there got it to turn off by pumping the gas pedal three hard times and then when he turned the car back on it was gone. so you might want to try that. i thought the guy was crazy at first but it worked so i didnt care.

what year is your car though becasue that might matter too.

That is the actual fix and it is listed in the owners manual. Turn the ignition to on without starting the car and hit the gas pedal 3 times WOT. That should clear the code.
