Hey Dan,
What's to keep water when it rains from going in your fully functional hoodscoop, and down onto your engine and electrical wiring? Is there a built in drain? lol
Might sound dumb, but I could have sworn that the mustang scoops that were functional had some sort of a built in drain for anything heavier than air - rain.

Well, I'm a big fan of Symmetrical things on a vehicle, so if you made two of those, the one on the passenger's side being for looks only, and the driver's side functional, I think that would be a great idea!
ok.... maybe not.
