The '85 Monte LS...
it comes with single exhaust...Im planning on putting some headers on there...
and I want to re-do the exhaust...I want true dual exhaust...can it be done??...
If so....how...

yeah it can be done no problem. you are gonna have to notch your stock crossmember,or make a custom or by one from g-force,jegs or summit. but besides that there should be nothing elese to change

 

What we did for the time being, just went from the manifolds (in your case headers) came back to muffs, then dumped right at the rear end. To pass inspection, we bought two pieces of flex pipe, available at your local store, and ran it out the back. Car passed inspection fine, no other testing done here in Missouri. Hope this gives you some ideads. One downflaw, which doesn't matter to me, but there is a great deal of cab noise.
