It's common for the 4th Gen Camaro with the RS package because the bumper goes low and doesn't have the slits. So why not do this for your Monte? They don't have to turn down much, just enough to get the exhaust gases from flowing into your bumper

as long as the turn downs arent visible... i saw a monte 6th gen with turn downs and i was not a fan! of course its to each his own but i think a custom rear bumper would be better!

 

im sure you can see what i did on my sig. its allright for now. morad will sell me that ss lower cover hes got for cheap, but idk how much work is involved in insalling it.

my bumper cover doesnt have the slits needed to clip on. plus is there different bumper guts for the ss/ltz than mine???
