Default Mice in airbox

I went to change my airfilter today and for the third time I have noticed some pink insulation on the old one. I took the airbox apart and for the third time some mice have built a nest under the electronic module that is mounted in the bottom. If you park your car in a garage like me, you may want to check for this. Our garage is detached from the house and there are enough mice out there now that I think it's time to call the exterminator or get a big ugly cat.

Sux, man. How many more mice per gallon do you expect with the new filter? [sm=icon_stickpoke.gif]

Yeah, that was corny, I know. Hey, man...I was checking out your gallery. Those are large and in charge tips you have there. What kind of exhaust you have mated to them?

lol mice

I changed my air filter a few days ago to a K&N high flow, and I found some dead bumble bees at the bottom where the old filter was. There were also some small leaves and stuff. Im kinda surprised all that got in there.

Mine was packed with insulation, acorns and chewed up paper towel along with crap. I had the stock resonator removed and replaced with a shorter one as well as the A-# racing mufflers that are sticking out the back. The mufflers look cool as they are polished aluminum. I have been waiting for the warranty to run out whicj=h it did about a week ago so I could get rid of the u bend up front and also put in a high flow cat. If I don't like the sound afterwards I will be swapping out the racing mufflers for a pair of flowmasters.

Hey man, they do look pretty awesome. How do they sound? Have you thought about posting some sound clips?

Well there is a little glitch at the moment. The screen inside of the resonator has fallen to the bottom and yes that means at times you get that annoying rattling sound under certain throttle ranges which would spoil the sound clip. They are fairly loud and the tone will vary depending on the rpm range. Overall they sound nice but I would like to get a little deeper tone which is why I was considering the flowmasters, however I have grown attached to the way these mufflers look which was why I had them put on to begin with. I will have to see what they sound like when I get rid of the u bend and go with a highflow cat before I do anything to the mufflers. I will at some point put up an audio clip for anyone that wants to hear it.
