Kinda cool, the CEL has Not come back on, the car runs great, just don't know how many more miles I need to put on. Never had an issue like this. I'm not saying its a big deal. Just time consuming and tired of driving nowhere ! I've gone up n down the highway so many times and can't believe I haven't got stopped by the police for going off the side of the road so many times (per drive cycle, "let the car coast to 20 mph without hitting the brakes and clutch, or shifting".. So.... I'm still driving in circles... I'll be back !

Well at least the outlook is promising. No CEL and it sounds like they are just waiting for enough monitors to be in the ready state so they can test it. Mix a little stop-n-go traffic in with your highway cruises so the powertrain is exposed to a various loads. Once enough monitors are ready I think it will pass no problem.

I failed the emissions test with my 03 one year cause I just got it out of storage and had the battery unhooked for 6 months. Now when I store the 03 I have the battery on a trickle charger so that won't ever happen again.

Yep, I'm still in Washington but I'm not the one having difficulty passing the emission test. Mine passed a couple months ago and I don't have to worry about it again until '15.

Very true, the guy said we just need one more monitor to get the test done. So, off I go for another road to no where... Wish me luck on the green lights ! (the monitor they installed needs to go from red to green lights, as soon as it goes to green lights, it's ready for the test, so at least I now know when it's ready to test at least. Before I was just driving and trying...lol.. ). So ... Off I go..... A nice HOT Wisconsin drive......

Good grief, you have to go through a LOT to get that thing "ready". I'm wondering if it would have taken less effort to let the car clear the code on it's own....
