Hi,

So the flowmaster is beginning to rust out (after a long 2.5 years).

This time I am looking for a stock muffler or any extremely quiet aftermarket muffler for my '02 Monte Carlo. Anybody know of any good aftermarkets or where I can pick up stock muffler?

i would hit up junkyards, ebay, and craigslist for used ones. your bound to come across one sooner or later. you could even try exhaust shops.otherwise gmpartsdirect.com has them for cheaper, but you have to pay shipping as well, but that still may be even cheaper than getting it from a dealer. stock replacements from the aftermarket also work just as good as oem imo. you can get these from napa, auto zone, etc.

 

I've got a whole stock cat-back system with 3" chrome exhaust tips that I'll sell you.... resonator, u-bend, and the two rear mufflers, AND y pipe for an 03 SS. i couldn't hear my car idling inside when this system was on.
