I am able to afford some mufflers now, I need help finding something of amazon that will fit my car, either magnaflow or flowmaster. I had silverbullit help me and I noted some stuff, just wanted to know others opinions.

Well, Id say DONT get flowmaster cause Ive just never liked them. If you're dead set on one of those two, go with magnaflow. have you considered thrush? Seems like Im reccomending those to everyone lately. Have you thought of any other upgrades to the exhaust like downpipe or resonator delete?

EDIT: I looked at todays posts and found this post, when I first looked at it, I thought it said, "Looking to get a RICER sound from exhaust." LOL LMAO. Im sitting here by myself and actually said, "WHAAAAAT?"

And I do belive you need a 2 1/4" inlet on the mufflers. I THINK, dont go buying that until you're sure.

Take a look at SLP systems, you could just order the muffler, SLP Loudmouth.
http://www.slponline.com/view_product.asp?P=310013818
For around that 100$ mark, then take it to your local exhaust shop, get them to take u-bend out, and possibly resonator, and throw the muffler on and a tip and I bet you could keep it under 250$. The shop should not charge over 100$ for the U-bend and resonator removal, then the muffler install shouldnt be too bad and a tip just depends on what you choose. So that would be between that 250$ to 300$ tops mark and it would sound pretty dang good, Flowmasters dont sound as good on the 3800`s as they do on the 3400`s, so your kinda limited to what mufflers you can choose that will sound good. But of course this is all just IMO.

It should actually be about 70 bucks to do the res and ubend delete. Unless you're wanting them to weld in the bung for hte o2, then you're right on the money.
And I see above in a earlier post somone says emmision tests in IL... Where, Ive never had to get tested?

Thanks for the insight, idk what else to do to the exhaust, i wanted to do ubend delete and mufflers now till i get more money for the downpipe, i was told not to remove the res or the o2 sensor, for the mufflers i need something of amazon, i was recomended flowmaster and magnaflow but im open to others too

IDK why somone would tell you not to delete the res, nothing bad happened when I did? And as for the ubend delete, if your'e gonna end up getting the downpipe, its gonna be wasted money to get rid of the ubend now, the downpipe gets rid of hte cat, ubend and somtimes the o2 bung, then you can get a tuned pcm that removes the o2 code/

The resonator keeps the drone out of the cabin, and helps with the rasp.

If anything, I would just get a shorter resonator, but definitely not fully delete it.
