Default Just did a resonator delete

Since I had a hole in my resonator, and also the flange before it, I got it all replaced with a straight pipe. I was hoping to keep some of the sound cause i was really liking the deep rumble it had (but wanted it legal and coming out the back end haha). However, the guys at the shop did too good of a job, and now I can barely tell if my car is on or not when idling. Even at WOT its barely audible. Guess some flow40s are next in line.

Do you have inspections in MA? If not, then make it as loud as you want. Although, our engines do get a little tinny when there's little to no restriction.

Good idea. I might do a delete. I put the Flow's on when the car was new and now I have 97k miles and the engine is mint clean.

I think it has to do with running a lot cooler due to the Flow's.

We have really strict inspections. The main reason I actually got off my duff and spent the $60 on the delete was because Ive been getting pulled over for it being too loud.

How much of an increase did you guys who have the delete done hear? I hear absolutely NO exhaust sounds. Its the quietest car Ive been in now, can barely hear its on. The only sounds I hear are the engine... which is sweet lol

This is how mine sounds with no cat or res: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-gXOBJOEqq8

Personally, I think my video of it idling sounds better but oh well. I did at one time have a res on there, and it made the Monte much quieter and it also made it slower. I went from running a best of 14.6 in the 1/4 mile to running a best of 15.1 with the res on. Needless to say, the res came right back off.
