What engine do you have? You can get a complete exhaust system or a Cold Air intake
cam head work. Your pocket book dictates your HP.

I have a 3.8 supercharged and I did 2.5 inch downpipe w/highflow cat, 2.5 cat back exhaust and Wizaired CAI and I get great gas mileage. I'm getting around 19-20 mpg in the winter and 20-21 in summer and I do no highway driving. Some rural and some urban.

Depends on what you mean by cheapest... An intake can be cheap if made yourself. Just get a decent filter and build a heat shield. Your performance will be greatly dictated by how much you're willing to spend. I know I've spent more than I've wanted to on a few things but yet I'm no where near satisfied, just depends on how much you have to spend and what sort of goal your looking to achieve with your car whether it's fuel economy/performance/looks/sound.etc....

Anyways, Welcome to the forum, great place to start!

as far as cheapest would be to go to a junkyard and get l67 coils, make a cold air intake. the oem delco plugs and wires are pretty good from what i have read.

there is a thread called (something to the effect of) 3400 mods. lists this and more.
