How much louder do new mufflers get over time?

I'm considering getting Flowmaster Series 40 ( 40 Series ) for my
3.8 S/C. Would these be alright for that motor ?
I would like a little rumble to it but not a PO'd Bumble Bee sound.
I would also think that the older the muffler , the louder it will become ?
Anyone have a sound-clip from their own car ?

I have a sound clip of my magnaflows on my 3.5L. Go to the sights and sounds section, and look for the thread called "Magnaflows on a 3.5L" It may be down a bit, or even on a different page, but its there.

You should be able to find vids of almost any muffler available, and in pretty much any combination of mods.

.Just listened to the sound clip. Those do sound great ! May have to consider
