mine was 24" long stock and I had put a strait pipe in but at cruising speeds it was too loud and sounded like a ricer car and I hated it so I went back and had them put a 12" and a 14" on to compair and for the sound I was going for it was the 14" all the way ... I just wanted it to be loud and deep when I wanted it but I am on the hwy allot and and just wanted it to be a bit more mild at 2000rpm cruising and I think I found a good compromise of both with the 14"

i was looking in glass packs at work and they are filled with fiberglass, hence the glass packs, fiberglass packed in, and i can see how they would wear out with having just fiberglass in there.
