whats up fam, does any body know if the length of a glass pack muffler changes the sound of the muffler? i got a 31 inch glasspack in a trade earlyer today and was wondering the difference.

 

The length determines the deepness of the tone I think... I don't think it has a big affect on the loudness though. I'm by no means an expert on glasspacks though, but I do like how they sound!

longer=quieter. with that big of a glasspack its just gonna sound like ur regular muffler

 

Do glasspacks of straight pipes sound better?

 

Glasspacks are much better than straight pipe- they take some of that nasty, raspy edge off.

 

that would be a great replacement for a rusted out res. did that on my saty and only diff between the two waz the stock res the inside peforation to the fiberglass fill suck out more into the exh flow
