i was wondering for all of who removed the front header to install the zz power log.... how do i remove the front piece? i got all the bolts off except for 3 of them all of them is in the middle. they are right next to the center flange of the pipe and its impossible to get that socket into them. should i remove the spark plug boot and the silver piece to get to them???

 

I put one on my earlier this spring... I don't think I had any issues, just had to remove the heat shield from the front manifold (it pulls off, do not re-use with the PLOG). You may need to spray them with some penetrating oil if they look rusty. Mine came off with no issue. I also had to remove a stud that with in the head to get clearance to pull the mani out and slide the PLOG in.

Easy swap.
