I have a 229 3.8L 1981 Monte Carlo. I have added 2 1/2" Hooker headers and have a reducer down to 2". I'm looking for a place that will make a 2" header back exhaust system for this car. I know that I need to change the cross-member. There are plenty of 3" and 2 1/2" system available everywhere, but I can't seem to find a 2" system (or even a 2 1/4" for that matter). I really want to get one so I can put it on, not go to "midas or meineke" and have them do it...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also are you sure it is a 229? The 3.8L should be a 231 ci engine.
