Exhaust tip question
Heres a pick of my new tail pipes without tips: That pic was taken after our trip to cabellas...(I took the pic for jens post on salt covered car)
So excuse the "dirty" look...
However yesterday, I purchased and had my new tips Instahled (welded on) I just havent taken a Picture of them. IMO, There is no significant "tone" difference with or without tips..
With or without Tail pipes is a whole different ballgame where sound quality is concerned.
If your lookn for excessive loudnes...delete the resonator, delete mufflers and just run them straight out the back...
Mine on the other hand, I still have my resonator, (im not suoercharged)
I increased the pipes from 2" to 2 1/4". I had 2 Excellerator mufflers instahled that are "Chambered". not to be confused with "turbo" mufflers...
There small enough(mufflers) to allow to have tail pipes. That are functional and produce a great tuned sound... No droneing... All the sound comes out the back of the vehicle... Which means my interior is still sound proof!
It has a NON stock sound....Loud enough to appreciate, without being excessive..
