For the 3.4 Flowmaster sounds pretty good, but on the 3.8 Flowmaster sounds like a ricer/chainsaw.

it would sound like rice if you don't have any mods, chop off resonator and cat. flowermaster FTW. super 44 next mod for me.

I hope you don't buy the Borla for a hp gain. From what I have read the cat back on our cars is the least restrictive part. the down pipe is a good buy. The Borla or any exhaust should be bought for changing the sound of your car. Don't expect big hp gains.

x2, couldn't have said it better- definitely a very important point in a catback exhaust thread!

I learned from one of your many discussions on performance mods.

Not expecting BIG gains, but I have read a few testimonials that record 10HP and 10lbs of torque increase.

Not on our cars. The restrictions are before the cat, not after. Again it's one of those, only if it was modded before the exhaust changed will there be a gain.

A muffler swap will generally net you 0 HP and 0 ft lbs. of noticeable torque gains. They're mufflers, they muffle sound. That's pretty much it. Yes the flow might be better and that's always good, but changing out mufflers isn't going to do crap for performance.
