EGR Monitor, need emissions test
1997 Monte Carlo

Got codes P0401 and P0420 a little while back. Replaced EGR and cleared codes. P0420 remained, and long story short I just replaced the cat this week. I need an emissions test. Have a scan tool and I am waiting for all the monitors to reset so I can go test it.
After following the GM drive cycle the best I could, all applicable monitors became ready except the EGR monitor. Cleaned out the carbon from the throttle body and EGR port as well now to see if that was the problem. Drove another cycle the best I could, but still no luck.
Any suggestions as to how to get the monitor ready or what could still be wrong? Thanks!
