yes i know i say it on everythign but you dont know how many times we get asked somethign and can refer folks back to this thread so they can find the answers for them selves.

just like i would love to get someone to do a how to on doing this down pipe. it is not that hard to do but i dont have a down pipe to put in to the car or i would do one for the site lol

if yall wan tto spend the cash to ge tme a down pipe and a o2 sim. i will do a how to for ya! LOL

 

Zooomer over at ZZP tells me in order for me to avoid the SES light, I would have to reflash the PCM with the rear O2 sensor deleted. However, at this point I don't know where I would get that done. I'm waiting back to hear from him on this.

 

you might try to call around and see if you can get a dealership to do it fo ryou . but i havent heard of this ever happening.

I have the RT downpipe and hi flow cat. I bought a O2 delete with it for around $40, including shipping and replaced the rear O2 sensor with it. Then they just reset the check engine light and it hasn't come back on since.

 

crunch are you talking the simulator? or a actuall reflash of the computer?
the way he is talking he is saying that it is a actual reprogram of the computer that they do.

other wise i would get the 02 simulator for the car then just find a place to mount it and be done. as far as the code in the computer you can get it removedat the dealer like you said. or if you knwo anyone that has a programer they can actually clear the code also.
