Default GMPP-Exhaust with ZZP down pipe?

I have looked around and seen that a few people have the GMPP exhaust installed with a ZZP downpipe with cat bolt on.

Is the GMPP and ZZP down pipe with cat compatible?
If not is there a down pipe that is compatible?
***Noticed one person had to modify to use both****

How hard would it be to install myself with no lift? I know my way around cars and have tools but just wanted someone who has done its opinion.

It can be done but it's going to be a lot harder without a lift. The stock system weighs a ton so you will definitely need another person to help you get the old one off. The hardest part is getting the original bolts loosened because they are probably rusted on.

The downpipe is a DIRECT fit replacement that bolts up to your stock cat-back. So since the GMPP is a direct replacement for the stock exhaust, I would say it should bolt up perfectly fine.

The one guy that had to fix his exhaust, I'm not 100% he had the ZZP downpipe, he could have had another companies, or a custom one.

Welcome to the forum man.

Your more then welcome to ask questions. But also, dont be afraid to use the SEARCH function. Not everyone checks in everyday, so sometimes it takes a day or two to get answers.

might be too late, but if you ordered the parts you are fine. I have the GMPP exhaust and also have a 2.5" zzp downpipe with bolt on hi flow cat. fit like a glove no worries. cant help you with the install, had my shop guys do it for me but they had no problems with fitment.

p.s. the GMPP exhaust is a magnaflow system just so you know, sounds great.
