i recently installed a cold air intake im my 03 monte ls. the computer chips that are in the old intake box...i noticed that they have to be connected in order for the car to start...i was just wonder what other people have done with them to keep them from getting damaged?

 

I think it is the PCM that you are talking about. And if so i just have mine sitting below where it was with zip ties around it right now but i was thinking about making my own tray for it because the ones on the internet are all at least $50.00 that i have seen.

 

yea a friend of mine that customized his intake used a home made tray to hold his in place
