I guess, but that would have meant a piece if non stainless in the middle if a stainless pipe (welding issues) and being sure the flange wound up in the exact place, if this rusts up, just cut 2 bolts (but I used stainless hardware 'cause they had it at the hardware store) with a wizz wheel and bolt in another, just easier at the time and I had the flanges and pipe on hand, Still have to use 2 bolts to connect the cat to the cat back system, these are just longer and 1 extra gasket, and doesn't void the warranty on the downpipe
