wen i drive it or rev it it has this lil wining noise that annoys the hell out of me...it kinda sounds like my neighbors frgn ford windstar with the power steering issue

im pretty sure some of you guys are familiar with it...i heard it on many monte's driving by and on youtube listening to there exhaust set up

anyone have a clue of what it might be

i just youtubed monte carlo wine and one video looked about rite...he taped it n focused on the alternator could that be it?

 

It isn't supercharged, is it? If not, could be the alternator.

Have you checked the power steering fluid level?

 

Since nygiantsfan hasn't responded yet, i get a whining sound from mine when i drive spiritedly while my wife is sitting beside me. As soon as she gets out of the car, voila, no more whining!
