Whether its hard depends on your abilities. If you can fabricate sheet metal or build things out of plexi-glass, then you should be fine.
How much it will cost depends on what you have access to and how technical you want to make it. Some people just make a plexi-glass box; some make a sheet metal box and line it with insulation. What materials you use depend on your skill and how much time/energy you want to spend. I have pretty much all of that stuff just laying around the shop somewhere so it won't cost me anything when I make mine. The only real expensive part to making a CAI is the filter itself. I would recommend a K&N 4" cone filter ($50) but there are plenty of filters out there.

is it hard? NOPE!
how? well this is where you ahve to ask your self how much pain you want to put your self threw.
Mine is done from parts off a for!%@!# all ya do is go to thebone yard and get one and then stick a 90 on the end of it and a filter. make a coupel of brakets and done.
then you have to mount your CPU again to something. I made a craddel for mine out of the Computer box on a older blazier. I used to knwo the year but cant tell ya any more but it is the one that is mounted on teh fender. it fits perfect in there and you cna mount it easiely.
things to think of.
you can get a universal kit for like 60-80.00
or you can buy one that is done and mostlikely dos ethe computer at the same time for like 100-200.00 depending ont eh one ya chose.
