Default CAI for 3800 Series II

What’s a good CAI for my 03 Monte Carlo SS? Not doing any other mods just looking to pickup 12~15 HP and maybe a little better MPG..thanks...

Unless the dyno is set up to emulate real world driving the numbers seen will be higher then what you will see. You'll pick up a few ponies, but 15hp might be stretching it. As far as a CAI goes check out Cold Air Inductions <link

me personally i dont like intakes like k & n wherer there isnt any air actually getting to it. i prefer fenderwell intakes where you can actually hear the intake sucking in the air. im sure there are others brands that does this but from experience fenderwell intakes does this

Thanks, your Monte looks pristine and with such low mileage I'm sure it is.

i also agree with cold air inductions. i dont have one of theres but everyone that does loves it. as far as picking up 15hp that will never happen, maybe pick up 3ish hp. if you keep your foot out of it it will help a tad on mpg but not an insane amount. the best thing about a cai hands down is the sound!!
