Default Exhaust system brand?

Ok so i need some opinions please. Im thinking of doing a catback system on my car and possibly a new crossover pipe because it has a small exhaust leak from the flange. So my question is im using my local meineke and having them do a U-bend delete but what mufflers should i get? Im debating between magnaflows, flowmasters or dynomax but i dont know which i should choose. Also should i keep the resonator delete or should i put one back in? I want it to sound mean but i still need it to pass inspection in MA so i dont want to too loud which is why im here asking what i should get. Ive seen people put flowmaster 40's and 44's and also magnaflow mufflers too but i dont know what would be too loud or just right. If it wont be too loud without a resonator ill just delete the u-bend and change the mufflers but im not sure

I had flowmaster on mine before I turboed it and hated the sound.

I second corsa cat back exhaust

Borla isn't bad either

If you can find a slp I would go that route.

I went kinda the "cheaper" route..
But yet its all stainless.. I have catback duals of course...from the factory on my Z.

I did a resonator delete... removed the stock mufflers and I had Acellerator
chambered mufflers put in there place also added tails and tips.. It has a Great tone/sound and no droneing... I had the complete system installed with res delete, tails, tips and the price of the mufflers for a mere $180.00.

My exhaust still smells of rotten eggs... So If I had to..I believe it would pass inspection..lol But in Michigan..we no longer have AET testing.

I would put up a sound video of my exhaust...
But its still in the shop... It does not sound like a rice burner!.. But for a V-6 I think it sound is top notch... I had mine done at a local muffler shop called Wear Master.

Fan of Magnaflow and keeping a resonator. I just went a shorter one, but it's still there.

Everyone's tastes are different though.

I'm actually looking for an exhaust system myself. I'm new to the exhaust game so I'll describe the sound that I am looking for. I'm looking for a deep purring sound when my car is idling. Something like the first Batmobile lol. I'm not a fan of the souped-up Honda Civic sound at all if that makes. If anyone has any ideas of what system matches what I am looking for, I would greatly appreciate it.

With the 3800 you will honestly have a decent amount of rasp while driving. Until you boost that car, they just don't sound so great any louder.
