CAI For the 2006 LT?
Hey, new to the forum, first post. And this might be a dumb question but I'm by no means an expert so that's why I'm here.
I'm looking around online for a cold air intake for my 2006 V6 LT MC, and for the life of me can't find anything for it, only intakes that are coming up are all for the V8 SS. Is it even possible to put a CAI in my 3.5 V6? Eventually I wanna put some magnaflow duals on it. But was just wondering if a cold air intake is even an option for my lowly 3.5? lol

Yes, it's difficult to find parts for the 3.5...Check our
MCF Search Engine for subjects of interest, and
also check out member's MaMonte & his 3.5L.

Select your Motor size as 3.9L as it will fit on your 3.5L and there ya go.
Many of our members with 3.5L have that same CAI

Nice. So it'll fit fine even though it only lists the 3.9 and 3.8 as options? And anyone know if this is something one can install by himself without too much trouble or should I just order it and have a shop install it? Thanks!

Hello there! I have this same intake and it is very easy to install; just follow the instructions. I love the way it looks performs over the stock intake. I also have the dual Magnaflow exhaust. When I step on the gas, I love the sound and the additional pep!

Thanks bigmichaelcool, I might have to take a look into it. Just saw the pics of your ride. It's sweet man!!! That's along the lines of what I'd want mine to look like.

Yes, go to www.colairinductions.com and order directly from them...its a great product, and fits the 3.5L very well. Super easy to install also! Like Chibiblacksheep mentioned, when you order, just select the 3.9L V6 as your engine, for somereason they don't mention the 3.5L, but the 3.5L and 3.9L are the same for are practical purposes in this area.
I have my intake in combo with Dual Magnaflow exhaust, and love the way it sounds...The intake really brought the sound of the Magaflows to life...It sounds mean when you punch it!
