what engine do you have? its HARD to make slowmasters sound good on a Vsux
Luv ya Cowboy, but beg to differ, all my friends think the 44's kick azz and don't sound bad for a six.

Click on pic please
The Super 44â„¢ is the most aggressive, deepest sounding street and strip muffler Flowmaster has ever made! The Super 44's Maximum performance and Improved flow path will generate more torque and more power than ever before! If you want to really hear your exhaust system inside as well as outside your vehicle the Super 44â„¢ is for you.

Intersting topic I was just researching for an exaust upgrade. so i am glad i ran across this post. I was leaning towards the Flowmasters because i had them on Firebird i had (I regret getting rid of) anther story. So this week after my baby comes out of the Body Shop (see previous posts) Its going in for new exaust. my debate is between flowmaster and dynomax. I like a quiet car i am looking for performace. If my car was absoulutly quiet but could run 13s I'd be happy.

There is ONLY ONE DYNO TUNED exhaust system, and that is the MAGNAFLOW! With the rest you lose lowend torque and pickup some highend HP, with the Magnaflow you get BOTH! or better yet, leave your exhaust stock and get some auto cutouts and really capitalize on your stock system's lowend torque, hit 4000+ RPM to open up your cutouts and your basically running open headers for MAX highend HP. That way you are as quiet at a mouse and ROAR like a Lion at Topend.

Or just buy the straight thru dynomax's like i put on my 77... not much quieter than the straight pipes... though i did like my magnaflows a lot when they were on.. quiet at idle and vicious at WOT

Damn, $1000 for a muffler system. I haven't heard the Borla's on the V-6's, but I really like GPD's Super 44's, I think they sound awesome. In case you change your mind, go to:

PlanetMagnaflow.com
Use discount code : theplanet (one word, no spaces)

Betcha they are much cheaper than $1000.

I had Flowmasters delta flow 40s on my old Z34 with res deleted. They were pretty loud to say the least. I got a ticket for exsesive noise. After awhile it became obnoxious, but thats just me.

I have Delta Flow 40's on mine still have the res. on and it's not loud in the car, you can hear it, that is for sure but not loud. I was planning on doing magnaflow catback for my car in the summer but have changed my mind. Doing custom 2.5" all the way back, res. delete with Borla Pro XS mufflers and the same tips that I have now.
