the tips aren't going to matter sound wise. i just don't think the flow masters are going to create teh sounds you're looking for. most V6's i hear with them sound like their missing a cylinder, which hey, maybe they were...

you mean there are other companies that make PERFORMANCE mufflers other than FLOWMASTER?LOL!! I've tried dynomaxbut none of the others although I have heard some of them on ppls rides. Dyno's are just too quiet for me.Borla n Magnaflowsound the sameimo.... slightly louder than the Dynomax and more quiet than the Flowmaster

I know the tips don't matter Cowboy, just wondering because I have a friend looking for some tips and those looked like a good size for a Monte of that body style. Flowmaster is still the way to go I say. Dynomax and Magnaflow are 2 quiet, and I don't know who's ride you have been listening too, but on the V6's I've had and my friends have had, sound pretty damn good to me with Flowmaster.

Depends on your point of view. Our area (like 100 miles around) is a quiet area and the police take offense to a very loud exhaust.

Dynomax gives a nice rumble that doesn't drag into the cabin as a drone and doesn't attract the police.

Very true, all depends on what you want. That is just what I think. Delta Flow does the samething though, don't hear it that much in the car. Just on the outside.

eh, guess it takes a certain type of ear to like a flowmaster. i don't like those bumble bee mufflers, but hey, somebody likes them, because theres a lot fo them around. slowmasters have more of a hollowed out type of sound, as a friend of mine described them. i just don't have the kind of ear to like a flowmaster i guess. but jsut so you know,i have VERY picky tastes in just about everything, hey, maybe i should have said that earlier.

I like Hooker Aero flow mufflers. Satisfied with the sound and power.

Awe...haven't heard the name Hooker in a while. I remember when I had Hooker headers.

Luv ya Cowboy, but beg to differ, all my friends think the 44's kick azz and don't sound bad for a six.
