3400 PCM relocation help
Alright! So i chopped my factory airbox (the lower half) thanks to 01blackmonte or something like that in a forum somewhere where he hacked his in half. I put my PCM in it and so far it's working great, but yet my dad again is still bitching about me having to cover it and seal it from the elements. I'm ignoring him haha. Now, it's time to finish that intake
i do belive whitemonte and i have the same setup so what you can do is keep the first half of the stock air box, pipe the filter through the fenderwell (its going to be a tight fit). the pcm should kind of clip into the tray inside the airbox, won't rattle or bounce around after that. plus if u don't care about the airbox throw a few flowmaster and k&n stickers on the airbox lol

haha always can use a little extra
...anyways, think that PCM will be fine? I think it will. Where it's located in the bay is under the piping for my intake. It's protected by the hood, the tray that it's laying on, the metal "shelf" the plastic tray is snapped into, the engine, trans, etc...I think there's very little room for weather to get in. If not, I can wrap it in a garbage bag or something. OMG thats it! haha im a genius
