Default 3400 PCM relocation help

Hey guys, I'm stuck with a dilemma here. As you can see from the photos, my PCM module is hidden, but being "in the way" of my final build. The place where my PCM is at, I cannot extend the Intake into the fender, nor behind the headlight which is where I'm going to put it. I was looking at the PCM trays but its listed for the monte's with the 3800's. My dad also keeps nagging about "it has to be protected from the elements". So, any ideas on where I can relocate that PCM so I can finish my build and extend it behind the headlight? I dont wanna keep sucking in hot air, robbing power.

Thanks guys.

... you just cut off airflow to the filter, in the end you just made it even more of a hot air intake

Everyone running a FWI did not need to relocate the PCM.

Just get a PCM tray, and it will lay down. You do NOT have to "protect it" because everything in the engine is made to be fine. I wouldn't go putting your car in a lake :P, but it's not like rain and snow are going to be setting on top of it.

Now you take the piping to the fender, probably have to cut a tad, and throw a filter in the fenderwell.

I got a PCM tray in mind, but its for the 3800's as everything is. Will it work for my 3400? The airbox is in the same location so I wouldnt see why it wouldnt...

You could technically even just bungee the PCM down.

I don't see why the PCM Tray wouldn't work. You could double check by asking the manufacturer where it bolts to the car.

You could probably get a nice cold air intake for a 3800 and make it work.

They do make the Wizaired for the 3400, I wouldn't imagine much changed but the duct.

if your looking for something like a k&n or a different cai thats a little cheaper for the 3800 he could make it work tho, i dont know if too many people would recommend the k&n though. and the pcm try should be the exact same for both 3800 and 3400
