Yeah that's what I'm saying. Either get headers, or do the plog+downpipe.

No need to mess with the crossover or the rear manifold.

I have the plog, cuz at the time the cheapo headers weren't available. I walked into ZZP and bought it, and asked LOTS of questions as usual. They convinced me of just exactly what everyone is saying. The plog is the most economical of the improvements. Like I said, the $400 headers weren't available when I did the upgrade. I also have the 3" dp, with the hi-flow cat.

Definitely a good call on that. I paid $100 shipped used for my 3" catless downpipe, and $100 shipped used for my PLOG; and then they started making headers just over $300, and I regretted not doing it.
