Default 2004 Intimidator Fenderwell Intake

So I picked up a fenderwell intake and as I was getting ready to install it I see there is a fender brace in the way..Does that need to be cut out? and what would be the easiest way to access it?

Thanks

Is this the JMB Fenderwell?

You do have to cut to install that one.

W-Body Store says:

Installation Notes - Please note that cutting of the inner fender brace is necessary on W bodies which makes this one of the more difficult intakes to install. Please email us if you have problems with the install and cut/ modified intakes can not be warranted under any circumstances. This intake is easy to install but a bit tedious.
Shoot them an email, maybe they have a template to print out

I wish I was handy enough to do this, I will just eliminate the turning signal on the head light. It maybe rmove the headlights all together, but that will be dumb for a daily driver. LOL
