I don't know if one of the websites you've visited is montecarloss.com or not. If not, I suggest you check it out. Yes, I know ... that black one is not an SS. BUT ... it features a LOT of information about the 4th generation MCs ... technical aspects included.

I'm not sure which state you are in, but in IL, vehicles 1996 and older do NOT have to test for emissions anymore. You'll need to check your state's laws/guidelines/emissions testing information.

Thank you. I have no visited the site because it said SS in it so I strayed away, but I'll check it out. I live in MA, I'll do some reserach and find out exactly what the MA emission laws are. It just started to snow, supposed to get nine inches. Maybe I won't be able to check it out. =/

also you can check out the craigslist i have noticed alot of things from the area you are from for headers, intakes, carbs, also check ebay they have a catback system either flowmaster or dynomax for right around 200 maybe alittle more maybe alittle less cant actually remember.
