Default Weird 1984 Monte Carlo (t-top, floor shifters)

Im a newbie so dont bag if i start to ask stupid questions. I bought this 1984 monte carlo a couple months ago. (It has t-ops and floor shifter). When i told my friend about this car he thought it was an LS but when he came to look at it he knew off top that it wasnt an LS. I was just wondering did any 1984 monte carlos come out with t-tops and a floor shifter. I was also thinking that maybe that guy that sold me the car didnt even know what year it was.

Yup i can get pictures. Im starting to think it is an SC, but any ideas where i can get a replacement for that top? Also would i be making a smart choice buying a 350 rocket over a chevy 350?

a 350 rocket is a relly good motor but its a oldsmobile motor i myself like to keep chevy with chevy and so on you know
but if you want to go with the rocket you will need a b.o.p trans and the motor mounts out of a cuttlas or regal with a 307

oh yeah really good trans but you will have to get a diffrent cross member for the trans and you will need motor mounts out of a cutllas or regal with a 307 to make the motor fit but besides that it should be easy to do
