Default Price of a 1984 Monte Carlo SS

Hello Everyone,

If anyone could help me out here it would be appreciated. I have a chance to buy a 1984 Monte Carlo SS with 6800 original miles, ( That's right Hundred not Thousand) that has been garaged since new and still has the original tires on it.

The car is basically brand new. I can get it for $9000.00 but I was wondering if it was worth more than that, as far as collector value goes. I realize these cars weren't super muscle cars or anything but they were pretty cool in their day. Anyway I guess my question is, do you all think this is a good price and do you think it is worth more than that to a collector??

Thanks a lot in advance!!!

Hello and welcome to the forum!!!

If it's in mint condition $9K is a steal...... I've seen mint Monte's in that range on e-bay going for $10K up. Average Monte's in that year range go for $4-$7K depending on the condition. Lower ranges from $1-$4K

Keep it in good condition cause they will just gain from here.
