*Hiatus. :p

Anyways, I drove for like 6 months without a valid inspection, never got pulled over for speeding (surprisingly) or doing something stupid so they never noticed. Got lucky I guess. Godspeed to you!

In the mean time I will be sporting my son's Motorbike. A FZ8 or FZ8 (I can never get that right). He's not using it cause of his job. So I will use it to get back and forth to work until YellaJAC is all better.
I'm sad about this but I would rather let Yella sit safely in the back yard than take the chance of getting fines and or having her Confiscated!

I'll still be here, Not giving up the Monte or MCF! Just keeping my ownership safe. The cops do random vehicle stops by my job at least twice a month in the only road out of town.
Man that is a real bummer, hope things work out for ya. And be safe on that motor bike, lots of crazy drivers, when I last rode.

I agree with the skipping the used tranny, you just never know what is in it. Thought my original factory one with 67,000 miles on it was good. When we ended up pulling it out of storage to scavenge parts out of it we were surprise at only 67,000 miles, it had some already serious issues. So I'm glad no one on the forum bought it off of me after all.

Guess yours will be what it will be, I went without my Monte for almost 1year while it was being built and then shortly after it broke, then back to the shop for another 1.5 years.

It sucks, almost just have to forget you have Monte Carlo
