my car doesn't seem to shift into OD so soon anymore at lower speeds, which is a good thing. Could it be that the car adjusts itself to your driving habits? I absolutely hated it when I'd be going up a long incline and press the gas pedal down a little bit to get it to downshift so I can climb the hill and after holding the pedal steady for a few seconds, it would shift to OD and kinda bog down a little due to the low rpm so I'd have to get into the pedal again to get it to downshift so I can continue climbing. I'm not having to do that anymore and it's a beautiful thing.

I've noticed my shift points seem to change and never quite seem to shift at the same time especially my OD. Sometimes it seems to kick in when it should and others it won't hit OD at all. I've just learned to live with it I guess. I am not sure if our Monte's have a learning process.
