I am just trying to give credit where credit is due (even if it is negative credit)>

AMERICANS have designed the exterior bodies of most Japanese cars driven in the U.S.

Germans help design most Japanese cars driven in Europe.

Ive been in the hybrid model and the top end model. I dont think there is that much of an increase in quality, compared to Chevys of old.The hybrid, inside and out, looks crappy; I wouldnt want to be seen in it. While the LTZ looks real nice (nicer interior material, better exterior trim). One thing I didnt like was the stering wheel, for whatever reason, it felt cheap to me. Of course I havent driven in one, so i dont know how it rides. I hope when driving,it doesnt sound like its shaking to bits in the interior (like mine does)!

sadly, i just think Chevrolets design department has gone to crap. they are trying to look like the japanese auto makers... and that is just sad.
I often wonder about these people as well, Cowboy; however, in the overall scheme of things I guess they're not doing THAT bad. Here's the list of the bestsellers (and # of units sold) in the U.S. for 2006:

1. Ford F-Series
796,039

2. Chevrolet Silverado
636,069

3. Toyota Camry
448,445

4. Dodge Ram
364,177

5. Honda Accord
354,441

6. Honda Civic
316,638

7. Chevrolet Impala
289,868

8. Toyota Corolla
272,327

9. Nissan Altima
232,457

10. Chevrolet Cobalt
211,449

Personaly I like the new Malibu for the most part. The only part I don't like is the *** end of the car.

I like it a little better, but still not a huge fan of it. Now if that was the rear end of lets say a GM femalemodel, I'd probably like it a lot better, lol.
