and a big thanks to TVW for the Monte links...course he still owes me chocolate...
While I haven't found any referrences to value on this car I did find a bit of info on the production numbers that may (or may not) be of interest to some.
In '78 there was the 4-speed and a 3-speed available. In '79 the 4-speed was dropped, and the 3-speed was the only manual transmission available. '78 and '79 were the only two years (other than '70-'72) that Monte Carlos got Manual transmissions from the factory.
Info from the Monte Carlo Restoration Packet ->
'78
3-speed = 882
4-speed = 1719
'79
3-speed = 1595
