i turn trac off and a/c will rob ur power but ive never compared it on and off..plus a nice smooth throttle depression over about 1 second always worked best for me

I've never really tried to launch mine. I do know the T/C will really control the wheel spin, cuz without it, my tires just go up in smoke. Not sure I could make it to the 60 ft mark. They just smoke.

i'm not sure howTC work on most MCs but they willeither apply the brakes to stop wheel spin, or cut fuel to the injectors. i wouldn't use TC ifyou arerunning down thetrack. if you don't want wheel spin at all, get some tires that will hook up. or else try to do a good burn out before hand.

oh and don't use ac and try to shut off all electrical loads (lights, radio, etc).you want to eliminateall parasitic drag on the motor possible so you have that power to run down the track.

I turn off the traction control when I run mine, I can get off the line a lot quicker.

the traction control cuts powers to the wheels to stop the spin and thus, hurts you in the longer run. a/c on and wide open is the stupidest thing i've heard about getting off the line faster... now the HEATER wide open may help you a little bit as heaters take heat off the engine and filter it thru the cabin. keep you windows up to reduce drag and just bear the heat. also, drop your front tire pressures to about 25-27 psi, thats about the point where you can get the most tire in contact with the ground and help gain traction.

some other tips:

take your left front headlight out so the airbox can suck in more air
increase your rear tire pressures to about 55 psi or so (make sure you take that back out before driving down the road though)
if you're really daring like i am, remove your air filter AND you headlight (put both back before driving home)

-practice practice practice!!!
