What type of gas do you use?
As many of you know the only gas that is suppose to go into a supercharged 3800 is 98 unleaded. Now me myself I have only put BP gas into the tank, and my father before me would only put BP into the tank. Now in an emergency we might put 5 or so dollars worth of Speedway gas into the tank. So the other day my mom needed to use my car. Of course I let her have it no questions asked. I also told her she may need to fill it up. She knows we only put BP in our car, so I thought I didn't need to tell her what to get. So she comes home and commences to tell me she filled the car with Kroger gas. I thought nothing of it at the time. Until I found out she filled it all the way to the top with Kroger gas . I kid you not my Monte was struggling to get though that sludge. Of course I still thanked my mom for filling it up. I mean she didn't do anything wrong to the car on purpose.

You might be surprised that BP is not on this list: Top Tier Gasoline
I use Shell in the Monte because it's been tuned while running 93 Shell
I use whatever in the Camaro lol

I try to buy Shell gas because I get a discount if I spend a certain amount at Jewel (local grocery store). I only run mid-grade in both cars (the Stang is tuned to 89 oct anyway). I sometimes will put in Citco, BP or Philips 66 whoever has the cheapest price.

Me I have to burn high octane, will use Chevron when possible as it has the Techron cleaner in it.. But won't pause to much about putting any high octane fuel when it's thirsty. Think most fuels tend to be halfway decent now a days...
