well i have a miss fire again.
i have new plugs wires and a new coil pack pluse new fuel filter and a clean air filter as well. i have a new miss fire in cylender number 2 and a code p0302. i dont know why i have a miss fire i checked the plug it is clean and i put it back in and made sure the wire is fully conected and still a miss fire in that cylender. i had a bad mass miss fire last year that was do to a coil pack. is the coil pack prone to failure or could it be the wires prone to failure just on that cylender? i know i am getting fuel and air in that cylender i had a shop check it out it is getting fuel and evey thing in the cylender could it be just a fluke? if not i am disapointed with the quality of chevy and i would like to get rembersed for a different vehicle. because i know it is a 07 but it is still considered to be a new used car. i am dissatisfied i alway liked the monte carlo i dont like dumping money into a 4 year old car. it is acting like it is a ten to twelve year old car with some bugs poping up i would understand that but bot on a 4 year old. it is starting to leave a bad tast in away. oh with that plug i swaped it with anouther plug from anouther cylender.
it didnt no code for the other cylender it is just that cylender it is wiered after all what was replaced. the miss fire happened yesterday and this morning and on the way back just on the cylender. i didnt feel a miss fire and i checked if there was spark and fuel going to that cylender. because i have a couple of injectors do to what happened the last time. it is getting fuel and spark and air i dont know why it is happening to that cylender. just frustrated right now and my monte is just sitting in my garage waiting for me to drop it off to the dealer or a shop to have them scan it i dont want to drop a ton of money to try to remidy the problem i rather find out what is what the cause is.
found out where the missfire came from. the new coil pack that was put on there was a crack where the boot conected to broke on the inside. and it wasnt making a good conection and now it runs like a champ.
thanks for keeping us updated on your problem!
it left me a little upset because it is my dd and cruiser but i am glad i have it back got it back this morning. plus i had the dealer do a service on the trans as well they were having a special on there services. i think it is running better with every thing running right. oh the reson why i had them do the service on my trans it was about 800 miles close to the service and didnt want to chance on going over when i had a chance to do it my self.
